US Space Command: Communication Plan + Design Strategy
The Challenge: The Secretary of the Air Force requested a team of experts to assist with assessing over 50+ communities that self-nominated to host the US Space Command Headquarters (USSPACECOM HQ). The process needed to be comprehensive, unbiased and access that community’s ability to host USSPACECOM HQ using a numbered scoring system.
The Process: I led the development of a communication plan and design strategy to engage with 50+ communities with an aggressive timeline.
I designed interactive PDFs that were sent to each community across the country that were easy for community’s to input their information and data
Created talking points and presentations used by Senior USAF leadership to communicate with community officials
Developed agendas for site visit for Senior DoD officials to visit the down-selected communities
The Solution: Our team successfully scored each community and provided a data-driven recommendation within the aggressive deadline set by the Secretary of Defense.
IBM Proposal Support - Design Strategy
Solution: Designed a 12-slide presentation and advised IBM go-to-market experts on their communication strategy of their Automation Platform Pitch for the Defense Innovation Unit (DIU) and Army Financial Mangement and Comptroller (FM&C)Took complex information systems and designed them into easy to understand graphics.
The Solution: I partnered with account managers at USAID to develop graphics for a proposal. I took complex information and distilled the content into eye-catching well-designed graphics.
US Air Force: Senior Leader Messaging
The Challenge: The CE Senior Leaders requested a 2022 communication that reflected on the accomplishments of 2021 and outlines the way forward for 2022.
The Solution: Wrote the message and displayed the text in a series of image panels combined with action-photos. The collection of images were uploaded to social media as a swipe-through carousel. By disseminating on social media in this format, our clients were pleased we could engage a larger audience.
